Baseplate Plugs

Baseplate NPT couplings and baseplate plugs suit vacuum walls thicker than 1/4" and thinner than 1-1/4". Baseplate NPT couplings connect a tube to a chamber at a standard 1"; baseplate port; baseplate plugs are used to blank-off a standard size hole or feedthrough port in a chamber wall.

Baseplate NPT Couplings & Plugs Feature:

• Available in stainless steel, brass, or aluminum (baseplate plugs only)
• Baseplate NPT couplings mount in the baseplate port with the o-ring on the inside of the chamber. The tube connects into the coupling with a compression o-ring or a female NPT fitting.
• Baseplate plugs use an o-ring which sits on the inside finished surface of a feedthrough port or hole in the chamber's wall. A wing nut on the atmosphere side of the plug is used to tighten the plug to seal the hole/port.
