Overview
Titrette® Bottletop Burette
The BRAND Titrette® is the only bottletop burette that meets Class A accuracy specifications for glass burettes. If needed, it can offer the precision of 3 decimal places below 20mL. It can be quickly and easily disassembled in a matter of minutes - for cleaning, to replace the piston or cylinder, or to replace the batteries. Available in volumes from 10mL to 50mL, and with an optional RS232 communications interface.

The Titrette® bottletop burette is supplied with: 45mm thread, telescoping filling tube (170-330mm), recirculation tube, 2 batteries (AAA/UM4/LR03), 3 bottletop adapters, 2 amber colored light shield inspection windows, performance certificate, operating manual, and one-year warranty. Additionally included with RS232 interface: 2m interface cable (9-pin, sub-D plug connector), CD (driver software and open RS232 communication protocol).

Limitations of Use:
This instrument is designed for dispensing liquids, observing the following physical limits:

Temperature of instrument and reagent must be between +15°C and +40°C (59°F and 104°F)
-
Altitude: maximum 3000m above sea-level
-
Relative air humididty: 20% to 90%
-
Vapor pressure up to 500 mbar
-
Viscosity up to 500 mm²/s
Operating Exclusions:
Never use this instrument with:
-
Liquids attacking Al2O3, ETFE, FEP, PFA, PTFE or platinum-iridium
-
Liquids attacking borosilicate glass (e.g., hydrofluoric acid)
-
Suspensions (e.g., of charcoal) as solid particles may clog or damage the instrument
-
Liquids which are explosive or flammable (e.g., carbon disulfide)
-
Concentrated acids and bases as well as non-polar solvents which effect swelling of plastics (e.g., Toluene, Benzene)
-
The instrument should not be autoclaved!
-
The instrument should not be used in an aggressive atmosphere (e.g., HCl fumes).

A & J Vacuum Services provides repair service for all types of High Vacuum equipment. We perform Turbomolecular Pump repair, Turbo Pump Repair, Dry Pump repair, Vacuum Pump repair, Mass Spectrometer repair, Rotary Vane Pump repair, Vacuum Booster repair, and Leak detector repair. Our highly trained technicians have years of experience and guarantee the highest quality service.
We operate at our own full service repair facility in Clifton, NJ. We have invested in state-of-the-art equipment including; complete line of decontamination, cleaning, drying, balancing, vibration analysis and software to minimize failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
We support all major manufacturers including Pfeiffer Vacuum, Alcatel / Adixen, Edwards Vacuum, Varian, Oerlikon / Leybod Vacuum, Vacuubrand, and Agilent Technologies.
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and long pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10-9 Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
Every pump and instrument is extensively tested for 48 hours. During our final tests, we monitor total pressure, temperature, vibration and noise level utilizing newest testing technologies and techniques specified by OEM.
