The Agilent PTS800 also know as Varian TriScroll 800 Dry Scroll Pumps are multi-stage, oil-free vacuum pumps, designed and manufactured by Varian, Inc. for high reliability. The TriScroll 800 inverter pump delivers clean vacuum at high speed and low ultimate pressure. The unique, patented features of the TriScroll pumps provide proven reliability and durability, leading to low cost of ownership and consistent performance.
The unique TriScroll PTS-800 design delivers high pumping speed and achieves low ultimate pressure within a compact package. The pumps include a bearing purge port for improved tolerance for condensable gases, leading to improved reliability and longer service intervals. They also have an automatic gas-ballast port, which improves the pump's tolerance for water vapor and other condensable gases.
