Becker U 4.20 Rotary Vane Pump, 12.4 CFM, <29.875 Hg, Oil Flooded Vacuum Pump, 110 V, 1 phase, U4.20, G020043

Becker U 4.20 Overview:

The Becker U 4.20 vacuum rotary vane pumps. The peak pumping speed up to 12.4 CFM at 60 Hz. U 4.20 has the nominal rotation speed 3300 min-1 at 60 Hz. The weight of U 4.20 is 20 kg. Noise level U 4.20 is 67 dB at 60 Hz. One phase with main requirement voltage 110 V or 220-240 V at 60 Hz.

The Becker U 4.20 is oil flooded rotary vane vacuum pump with two stage oil separation, pressure differential lubrication, integrated anti-suck back valve, gas ballast valve, horizontally mounted external inlet filter, initial charge of Becker’s synthetic oil, and integrally flanged to a 0.9 HP, 110 volt or 220-240 volt, 1 phase, 60 Hz., TEFC motor.

The Becker U 4.20 rotary vacuum pumps are cool running, quiet, and highly efficient.

Providing vacuum to 29.9 in.Hg (0.4 Torr), our compact, direct-drive, oil-flooded pumps operate on a semi-synthetic oil and offer gas ballast as an option. Our multi-stage oil separation system is 99.9+% efficient.

If you want reliability and durability combined with industry-leading performance, you want a Becker rotary vacuum pump.

The Becker U 4.20 A gas ballast valve (as standard from U 5.70 and with increased volumetric flow as an option) prevents the condensation of steam as far as possible. The gas ballast lets a measured amount of fresh air enter the compression chamber. By mixing saturated intake air with unsaturated fresh air, condensing is kept to a minimum. In addition, the protective cover supplied as standard minimises noise emissions.

An optional water cooling system allows the pump to be operated in higher ambient temperatures or with higher intake temperatures; the service life of the lubricant is also significantly increased. A wide range of accessories complements the pump, making it ideal for various tasks.

Applications include the graphic arts, packaging, vacuum chucking, robotics and material handling, medical/surgical, and air sampling among others.

Becker U 4.20 Features:

  • 8 compact model sizes from 70 to 780 m³/h
  • Easy to install
  • Fastest pump-down times in comparison
  • Integrated gas ballast valve, optional 3 mbar absolute
  • Highly efficient cooling allows operation without heat exchanger (U 5.70 & U 5.100)
  • Lower installed motor power in direct comparison
  • Efficiency class IE3 motors as standard
  • Version for protective atmosphere packaging available (O2, N2 …)
  • Oil reservoir with two-stage oil separation
  • Highly efficient air/oil separator element for most effective oil separation
  • Oil filter for long oil service life
  • Smooth surfaces for quick and hygienic cleaning
  • Ideally suited for vacuum packaging of foodstuffs (meat, fish, cold meats, cheese...)
  • Extended characteristic diagram and functionality as an option through VARIAIR control technology in various model sizes
