What is a Service RMA # and how do I obtain one?

RMA stands for Return Merchandise Authorization. It RMA id number represents your return inquiry in our database. It's the first step in commencing the repair process at A & J Vacuum Services for your equipment.

Short version:
To obtain a Service RMA #:

  1. Navigate to AJVS.com
  2. Click the blue 'Generate Service RMA' button below the product banner.
  3. Login with your account details or create a new account to continue.
  4. Fill out the generate RMA form and click the 'Generate RMA & Print Packing Slip' Button.
  5. Your RMA # will be generated you will be presented with a dialog to print your packing slip.

How can I request a repair estimate?

To get started, you have to be registered at AJVS.com:

  1. Please log-in or create an account at AJVS.com by clicking here.
  2. Navigate to the Service RMA section.
  3. Click the 'Request Repair Estimate' link.
  4. Fill out all the fields and click the 'Request Repair Estimate' button.

You will receive an E-mail notification with your estimate within 24 hours.
What is the status of my repair?

You can check the status of your repair by logging into your AJVS.com account:

  1. Log into your account at AJVS.com by following this link.
  2. Navigate to the Service RMA section.
  3. Click the 'View My Service RMA' link.
  4. You can view the stage of your repair on the following page.
  5. To view further information, click the 'Details' button to the right.
How do I authorize a sales quote?

You can authorize your sales quote(s) by logging into your AJVS.com account:

  1. Log into your account at AJVS.com by following this link.
  2. Navigate to the Sales Quote section.
  3. Click the 'View My Sales Quotes' link.
  4. You can authorize you sales quotes by clicking the green 'Authorize Quotations' button.
How do I authorize a service quote?

To authorize us to proceed forward please follow these quick and easy steps using our website. We are unable to proceed with repair work until online authorization is completed.

  1. Log into our website with the account that made the RMA at: link.
  2. In the details column for your RMA click the view button.
  3. Under the documents and test reports section click on the authorize quotation button.
  4. From here you will be brought to the shopping cart, Click the red check out button.
  5. Verify all of the billing/shipping details on this page and then click confirm order at the bottom.

All shipping and payment options available to you will be presented on the checkout screen. Please reserve use of the comment box for notes pertaining to your equipment. We are unable to use the comment box for shipping or payment instructions. Upon completion of checkout you will be given a confirmation number and an invoice will be generated.
What is the turnaround time for my repair?

Standard turnaround time for equipment repairs are 8-10 business days. 3-5 day rush services are available for an additional fee.
How can I change my shipping address?

You can change your shipping address by logging into your AJVS.com account:

  1. Log into your account at AJVS.com by following this link.
  2. Navigate to the 'My Account' section.
  3. Click the 'View or change entries in my address book' link.
  4. Click the 'Edit' button on the right.
  5. Edit your information and click the 'Update' button.
Do you offer Financing?

We offer financing through Hampton Ridge Financial. Please follow this link for more information.

To qualify you need to meet the following requirements:
  • Must be looking to purchase $5,000 or more of equipment.
  • Positive credit history and a 600+ credit score can qualify.
  • Must be located within the U.S. and have an IRS Tax ID number.
  • Last 3 months of bank statements may be required.
  • Start-up financing is also available.

I do not want to repair my equipment. How can I get my equipment returned to me unrepaired?

You can get your equipment returned to you by logging into your AJVS.com account:

  1. Log into your account at AJVS.com by following this link.
  2. Navigate to the Service RMA section.
  3. Click the 'View My Service RMA' link.
  4. Click the corresponding RMA # to the equipment you sent in.
  5. Click the 'Return as Received' button in the 'Document & Test Reports issued by A&J'.
  6. If you wish to scrap your equipment, click the 'Scrap Equipment' at no additional cost.
