The Becker U Series rotary vane pumps are engineered for durability and perform exceptionally well in vacuum applications involving significant pressure differentials. Inside the cylindrical housing, a rotor is mounted off-center and features slots that hold precision-engineered sliding vanes. As the rotor turns, the vanes slide in and out, forming separate working chambers. Unlike dry-running rotary vane pumps, the oil-lubricated versions not only reduce friction but also use the circulating oil to seal the chambers. This sealing function enables the pumps to reach deeper vacuum levels, making them particularly suitable for demanding high-vacuum applications
The Becker U5.301 is a traditional oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump.
It comprises a housing, an eccentrically mounted rotor, radially sliding vanes, and inlet and outlet ports.
Becker G052852 has a non-return valve is located in the connection flange, which opens only during operation. As the rotor spins, gas enters the expanding chamber until it is sealed off by the next sliding vane. The trapped gas is then compressed until the outlet valve opens, releasing it against atmospheric pressure. The resulting vacuum draws oil into the scoop chamber, which not only lubricates but also helps seal the vanes. The oil used in the compression process is subsequently separated by air de-oiling components.
