Pfeiffer DuoVane300 / PK D48 602 E Overview:
Pfeiffer DuoVane series rotary vane pumps are two-stage, oil-sealed rotary displacement pumps for use in a low and medium vacuum. The rotary vane pump is available in the standard version with claw coupling and asynchronous motor.
Pfeiffer Vacuum DuoVane Line is the latest and the newest design within rotary vane pumps, with outstanding pumping performance.
The Pfeiffer Vacuum DuoVane 300 rotary vane pump is an oil-sealed rotary displacement pump. The pumping system comprises the housing, the eccentrically mounted rotor, and the centrifugal and spring-loaded radially sliding vanes, which divide the suction chamber into multiple chambers.
The volume of each stator chamber changes periodically as the rotor rotates. This causes the gas to be drawn in at the vacuum flange, and compressed in the suction chamber by the rotation of the rotor until the exhaust valve opens against the atmospheric pressure at the outlet and expels the gas. The exhaust valve is oil-sealed. When the valve opens, a small quantity of oil penetrates into the suction chamber. In addition to lubrication, this also causes the gaps between the rotor, stator, and vanes to seal.

Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
