KF-40 / NW-40 Clamp Overview:
The Quick Clamp KF-40 with Wing-Nut Assembly is used to connect vacuum plumbing and process systems in combination with vacuum pumps or vacuum components.
The Cast Aluminum Clamps KF-40 or NW-40 Clamp is used in conjunction with a certering ring with a fitted O-ring for mating KF flanges.

- C: 0.63 in / 16 mm
The KF 40 or NW 40 Clamps are available in the following sizes: NW 16, NW 25, NW 50
The AJVS KF 40 Vacuum Hardware Clamps are available in Aluminum or Aluminum-Nickel Plating.
KF Hardware (also referred to as NW) assemblies consist of two Flanges, a Center-Rings and an aluminum Clamp. Quick Clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the O-Ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring, to generate the vacuum seal.

Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
