The new Agilent MD30 portable helium leak detector is a robust precision instrument that features an easy to use touch screen interface. Powerful leak detection capabilities are linked together through an efficient menu structure that allows quick and intuitive usage. The Agilent Technologies MD-30 leak detector also includes built in application setups that will shorten your test cycles. These configurations could be easily saved to assure repeatability in the future. The size of this Agilent portable leak detector allows it to be easily utilized on a cart, table, or bench. A TriScroll 620 dry scroll pump is provided to be used as an external backing pump.
The new generation of Agilent HLD bench top leak detectors were designed to bring unprecedented ease and performance to all your leak detection needs.
Key Features of the HLD Leak Detector:
- Six preloaded application setup guides that allow you to configure your unit for any application. This ensures that your parameters are properly set for thorough and efficient testing.
- A new and improved touch screen that is larger, more responsive, and durable. The display will rotate 180 degrees for ease of use.
- A cleaner and more efficient user interface. Frequently used features will be immediately accessible and the new menu structure allows you to quickly find settings.
- Startup wizard that helps guide you through your first time setup of the instrument.
- Enhanced charting functionality. The touch screen will allow you to zoom in on data, use color coded setpoints, and make time based plot records for leak rate and pressure.
- Large work area which provides ample room to test parts, tools, and other materials.
- An improved shutdown sequence keeps the spectrometer under vacuum and the turbomolecular pump protected during the power-off process.
- Dry vacuum pump prevents risk of oil contamination.
- Mobile cart provides increased maneuverability and easier use in small service areas

AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
