Edwards MF 30 Overview:
Mist Filters capture oil mist from the outlet of pumps, which would otherwise be ejected into the atmosphere.
This may happen when you use gas ballast or when you pump high gas throughputs.
You can also return oil trapped in the mist filter back to the pump, although you must ensure that the process gases will not contaminate the pump or pump oil.
The MF 30 is suitable for E2M28 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps. It is very efficient at 99.85 % DOP test. You can monitor the oil level through the sight-glass provided.
The MF 30 Mist Filter comes with a Filter Element, NW (KF) 25 Elbow, NW (KF) 25 Clamp and NW (KF) 25 O-Ring.

Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
