The Pfeiffer Adixen ASM 182/192 series includes the latest evolutions of Adixen leak detectors, of which thousands are utilized in successful daily operation throughout the world in various applications and industries, including the automotive, chemical and mechanical, and electrical, electronics and packaging industries. A standout product of this series is the Adixen ASM 182 TD+ helium leak detector, utilized extensively in quality control purposes and maintenance of semiconductor processing systems, as well as quality control of vacuum components. Additionally, it is utilized as a blister-testing appliance within the pharmaceutical industry. This brand of Pfeiffer Adixen leak detectors offers several unique features, among them high sensitivity [5 x 10^(-12) mbar l/s], in addition to rapid response time while activated in spraying mode.
The Adixen ASM 182 TD+ leak detector is extremely flexible and user-friendly, with an emphasis on operational durability and ease-of-access. Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
