The Agilent PTS300 pump also know as Varian TriScroll 300 Dry Scroll Pumps are multi-stage, oil-free vacuum pumps, designed and manufactured by Varian, Inc. for high reliability. The TriScroll 300 pumps deliver clean vacuum at high speed and low ultimate pressure. The unique, patented features of the TriScroll pumps provide proven reliability and durability, leading to low cost of ownership and consistent performance.
The unique TriScroll PTS-300design delivers high pumping speed and achieves low ultimate pressure within a compact package. The PTS 300 pumps include a bearing purge port for improved tolerance for condensable gases, leading to improved reliability and longer service intervals. They also have an automatic gas-ballast port, which improves the pump's tolerance for water vapor and other condensable gases.

AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
