The Agilent Varian IDP 3 / G3170-80036 Dry Scroll Pump is equipped with electromagnetic Inlet Valve, IDP3 pump is an innovative, compact, high-performance, oil-free vacuum pump that is suitable for a wide variety of applications. Agilent IDP3 / IDP3A21 Dry Scroll Pump It is the smallest scroll pump made for general vacuum applications, which makes it easy to integrate it into OEM systems, and it weighs only 21 pounds (9.5 kg). Yet with a pumping speed of 60 liters/min and a very low base pressure of 250 millitorr, it is the highest-performing dry pump in its class.

AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.

AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
  1. Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
  2. Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
  3. Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
  4. Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
  5. Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
