Pfeiffer Vacuum ThermoStar Mass Spectrometers

The Pfeiffer GSD 350 is capable of simultaneously analyzing multiple gas components. Before entering the PrismaPro, the sample gas passes through a pressure-reduction stage to ensure proper operating conditions in the vacuum environment. Within the PrismaPro, a portion of the gas is ionized, and the resulting ions are separated and detected according to their respective mass-to-charge ratios.

Two GSD350 configurations are available, each featuring a different gas inlet system (OmniStar or ThermoStar). The inlet system reduces the sample gas pressure from 1000 hPa to the working pressure required by the PrismaPro. Both versions share the same gas analysis unit as well as the high-vacuum and gas-handling system.

- Special tool for the orifice of the gas inlet system
- 2 O-rings made of FKM, 9.25 × 1.78 mm and 18.77 × 1.78 mm
- 2 slow fuses, 10 A

  - Clamp collar set for 1/16" tube (5 pieces)
- For ThermoStar or GSD 350 with quartz capillary only
