Pfeiffer DUO 3 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump - Product Overview:
The Pfeiffer DUO 3 Rotary Vane Pump is a direct replacement for the now-obsolete Pfeiffer DUO 2.5 Vacuum Pump. The Pfeiffer DUO 3 Vacuum Pump series includes oil-sealed, two-stage Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps. The Pfeiffer DUO 3 Rotary Vane Pump is equipped with a high vacuum safety valve, which, when the pump is at a standstill, tightly closes the vacuum chamber while simultaneously allowing for ventillation of the pump.

Pfeiffer Rotary Vane Pumps - Technical Information:
Pfeiffer Vacuum manufactures some of the most widely-utilized varieties of advanced rotary vane used in a variety of industrial applications in the twenty-first century, including laboratory processes, chemical and process engineering, among others. These products are ideally utilized for the low-to-medium intensity vacuum range. Pfeiffer vacuum pumps are especially known for their durability and wide range of application.
A rotary vane pump functions as a displacement pump, creating a low-pulsation suction volume flow. Rotary vane pumps include an eccentrically-supported rotor with two rotating vanes, encased and revolving within a housing. The Pfeiffer Rotary Vane Pumps offered to our clients are oil-lubricated (wet-version pumps); these operating fluids help to enhance the insulation of pump components and ensure maximum durability and efficiency of the product.

AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
