TPH 2101P / PMP03020A Overview:
Pfeiffer Vacuum Turbopumps TPH/TPU 2101 P/P C with the TC 750 form a complete unit. Voltage is supplied by a separate power unit.
The Turbomolecular Pumps TPH/TPU 2101 P and TPH/TPU 2101 P C may only be used for the purpose of generating vacuum.
The Turbomolecular Pumps TPH/TPU 2101 P C are designed to pump corrosive gases and vapours. Where corrosive gas processes are involved, gas bonding and particles which can damage the surfaces of the pump can be produced. The motor and bearing compartments have to be protected with sealing gas.
The turbopumps may only be used to pump those media against which they are chemically resistant. For other media the operator is required to qualify the pumps for the processes involved.
If the process produces dust, the maintenance intervals must be specified accordingly and sealing gas must be used.
If the pump is to be operated with more than 50% of the permissible gas load then sealing gas should be used to ensure rotor cooling.
The turbopump must be connected to a backing pump.
Only PFEIFFER power units may be used to operate the TC 750. The use of other power units requires the prior agreement of the manufacturer and equalisation with the valid specification.
The pumps may only be operated providing the ambient conditions in compliance with Protection Type IP 30 are observed.

Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
