Overview:

The Display Control Unit DCU300 / PM C01 696  is an operating unit for Pfeiffer drive units. It enables control over all the main parameters of the unit. Additionally, the connection of a vacuum gauge is possible.

The DCU is fitted in a housing suitable for mounting in a 19"/3HE rack.

The DCU provides the following connection options:

  • Electronic drive unit for turbopump (X2)
  • Pressure gauge (X3)
  • Serial interface RS 485

The display and operating unit DCU-300 may only be used to control Pfeiffer Electronic Drive Units and their peripheral units.

The units DCU 100 - DCU 600 have been designated protection class 1 and must always be connected with the earthed conductor (PE) via the mains cable.

Repair Steps
  1. Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
  2. Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
  3. Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
  4. Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
  5. Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
