VBC Microtorr 11D Overview:
Fully Refurbished VBC Microtorr11 Diffusion Pump System with Alcatel 2005 SD Dual Stage Rotary Vane Pump coupled with a KF-25 Inlet Flange and KF-25 Outlet Flange. This Alcatel Rotary Vane Pump has a peak pumping velocity of 3.2 cfm and a final pressure of 1 x 10-3 Torr. It has been thoroughly examined and is ready for broad range of applications within the research and industrial industries.
This unit consists of a two-stage mechanical forepump, air-cooled oil diffusion pump and cooling fan, all assembled on a small base which includes rubber vibration isolators.
Microtorr 11 is a small, highly reliable, high vacuum pumping station. Primary use of the MICROtorr 11 is for the maintenance of an insulating vacuum in SEMIFLEX cryogenic pipe systems. It is a complete unit requiring only connection to the annulus of the system to be evacuated, and an appropriate source of electric power.

Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
