Overview:

The Edwards EXDC-80 Turbo Pump Controller generates the control signals necessary to operate an EXT pump and its accessories.

The EXDC80 has no manual controls and can only be operated through the logic interface. To operate the EXT pump, you must therefore connect the EXDC to your own control equipment and electrical supply.

This Controller is designed for the following Mass Spectrometer Turbo Pumps:

  • Edwards EXT 70 Turbo Pump
  • Edwards EXT 70H Turbo Pump
  • Edwards EXT 250 Turbo Pump
  • Edwards EXT 255H Turbo Pump

AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
  1. Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
  2. Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
  3. Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
  4. Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
  5. Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
