The New Edwards WRG200-X-NW 40 Active Wide Range Gauge family offers the capability of single port pressure measurement in the range from atmosphere to 10-9 mbar with a linear output. WRG Gauge P/N D3G0031100 Its a compact solution, halving the space and connectivity hardware requirement, which can be all important in many applications.
The New Edwards WRG200 X NW40 Vacuum Gauge is a compact and efficient solution that significantly reduces the required space and hardware for connectivity. Its compact design makes it ideal for various applications. This gauge has undergone numerous technical improvements such as its innovative striker design, a 360 LED light ring indicator, easy push-button calibration, integrated set-point controls, and comprehensive diagnostics.
The WRG200 offers cost-effectiveness as a vacuum management solution, either when used with an Edwards controller or directly integrated into the system controls. This gauge is perfect for monitoring pressure in systems that are rapidly pumped down from atmospheric pressure to high vacuum levels.
The New Edwards WRG200 NW40 / D3G0031100 Gauge is a low maintenance and cost effective vacuum management solution when used either with a Edwards Gauge controller or directly integrated into the vacuum system controls.
Edwards WRG-200-X NW40 Technology:
The New Edwards WRG vacuum gauge has two gauges built in one, using Pirani technology for the upper pressure ranges, with a seamless switch over to an Active Inverted Magnetron for the lower range.
For ease of operation and more accurate pressure reading, the vacuum setting of the Edwards Pirani gauge is set automatically, while a single pushbutton sets atmospheric pressure. The Edwards WRG200NW40 has an easy to program set-point which operates over the entire measurement range.
The Edwards New WRG 200 Active Gauge uses an advanced technique for highly reliable patented striking, even at high vacuum or in relatively contaminated conditions.
The Edwards WRG 200 have a very low external magnetic field and are ideally suited for use with sensitive analytical instruments or in applications where the gauge needs to be mounted in close proximity to a turbomolecular pump
Edwards WRG200-NW40 Features:
- 360° LED light ring visual pressure indicator The LED light ring not only displays basic adaptive “working/not working” information, it also gives the user precise pressure feedback via the light rings pulsing patterns. The indicator is also used to help guide you through the menu setup.
- Wide range power supply This gauge boasts a broad power input range of 15-48Vdc, making it one of the most versatile options in the market. Integration into your systems is made effortless and stress-free, as there is no need for an additional power supply unit
- Reduced footprint The WRG200 is compact in size, therefore making it a perfect choice of gauge in those applications where real-estate is at a premium.
- 6 Drop in compatible We know the last thing you want to do is change software/carry out lengthy qualification or have to start changing your set-ups. Therefore we have made sure that we provide variants to cover the most commonly used outputs so upgrading is even easier.
- Filament technology Our new cold cathode filament technology will provide you reliable solution no matter your environment or application. The additional striker allows the gauge to strike in heavily contaminated environments therefore making this gauge the perfect choice for dirty processes.
- New magnets The advanced magnets have allowed us to reduce our stray field making the WRG200 reliable and safe to use in environments where the gauge is in close proximity to sensitive equipment, especially when measuring over a wider range.
- Analogue/digital A choice of D-Sub or RJ45/ FCC68 for our analogue variants for processes that prefer a “lockable” connector to our digital gauges that sit in the same footprint, making it easy for you to upgrade at a later date should more data collection/control be required.
- Set-point relay For the first time on an Edwards gauge we have a dedicated set-point relays available, enabling you to trigger a wide range of knock on actions.

We operate at our own full service repair facility which allows us to quickly and economically perform all repairs in a timely manner. Our advandced machinery enables us to handle all facets of the service and repair process. AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
