TPH 2200 SG / PMP01255 Overview:
The Pfeiffer TPH 2200 Turbo Pump PMP0125 is designed to operate with Electronic Drive Unit TCP-5000\ in Houser coater together with the appropriate backing pump, a system which is ready to operate.
Switching on/off and turbo pump monitoring is executed via the TCP-5000 Electronic Drive Unit.
The TPH and the TPU Turbomolecular Pumps are of similar design and power. They differ in the type of high vacuum flange.
- TPH: ISO-K Flange
- TPU: CF-F Flange
The Pfeiffer TPH2200 Turbo Pump rotor has bearings at both ends. Each ball bearing has its own circulatory lubrication system.
The TCP5000 Turbo Pump Controller controls pump running up to the rated rotation speed automatically.
The TPH-2200 Turbo Pumps PMP01255 are thermally protected against excessive temperatures. If the temperatures of the bearings, the drive or pump casing are impermissibly high, the drive power is reduced to zero.

Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
