Inlet adaptor allows an additional backing pump to be connected to and be controlled by the ELD500. An additional backing pump may be an advantage where a large or contaiminated volume is to be leak tested
Edwards new ELD500 fully automated leak detector has arrived. If you want to test a large chamber, then the partial flow adaptor simplifies and speeds up the process, whilst automatically adjusts the leak measurement. Using this item you can pump down chambers faster with bigger external pumps. We advise pairing this item with the Edwards range of nXDS/xDS pumps.

Edwards Leak Detector Available in Three Models: Wet, Dry, Flex
- WET version with an integrated oil sealed rotary vane pump
- DRY version with an integrated helium optimised diaphragm pump
- FLEX version without a primary pump, ideal for trolley mounting along with a larger primary pump such as an Edwards nXDS scroll pump

Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
