Leybold RC310C Hand Held Wireless Remote controller enables Phoenix Leak Detector user to step away from the Helium Leak Detector and be able to control leak testing and to view screen with Leak Rate reading.
Leybold RC 310C is a compact, light weight and easy to use Remote control with bright and clear display.
Wireless Range >100 m in free field
The RC310 Remote Control has been design to operate the following Leak Detectors;
Phoenix L300i
Phoenix L300
Phoenix L200
The former wired remote control P/N 252002 can be replaced by the Leybold RC310 Controler.
Supplied Equipment:
RC310C Remote Control is designed for Leybold Phoenix L300i Helium Leak Detector which is the next Generation in Helium Leak Testing. Phoenix L300i Helium Leak Detector opens up new domensions of productivity and reliability for your applications.
The Leybold Phoenix L300i is a portable multipurpose helium leak detector and equally well suited to both service and series production testing. The rugged modular design and its ease of use make the Phoenix L300i one of the most user-friendly leak detectors in its class.
Leybold Helium Leak Detectors permit the localization of leaks and the quantitative determination of the leak rate. In practice the leak detector performs this task by firstly evacuating the part which is to be tested, so that gas from the outside may enter through an existing leak due to the pressure difference present. If only helium is brought in front of the leak (for example by using a spray gun) this helium flows through the leak and is pumped out by the leak detector. The helium partial pressure present in the leak detector is measured by a sector mass spectrometer and is displayed as a leak rate. This is usually given in terms of volume flow of the helium.

Leybold Edwards Helium Spray Gun, for ELD 500, Phoenix, Quadro and Vario Helium Leak Detectors, 5m PVC hose, 16 555
The Leybold / Edwards Search Gas Spray Gun 16555 comes complete with a spray gun, nozzle, and PVC hosing.
Leybold's Helium Spray Gun is designed for well aimed spraying of search gases to detect potential leaks in your system. This spray gun should be used for the local testing of evacuated objects.
This 16 555 search gas spray gun works well with the new Leybold Phoenix Quadro Leak Detector 250001V02.
The PhoeniXL is a leak detector for Helium or Hydrogen. This instrument may be used to detect the location and the size of leaks on objects under test in two different ways:
The PhoeniXL is to be used for leak detection only. It must not be used as a pumping system (esp. pumping aggressive or humid gases.)
Pumping condensable gases and steams: When pumping test sample water vapour that is inside the test object can attain to the fore pump. With the water vapor that is in the air - especially in humid areas or when using humid or wet test samples - the acceptable compatibility of water vapor or capacity of water vapor respectively can be exceeded. The steam in the oil of the pump condeses when the water vapor rises over the acceptable value. So the attribute of the oil changes and danger of corrosion occures for the pump.
While using the leak detector with condensable gases and steams the oil of the fore pump has to be controlled regularly. So you can recognize a condensation of water vapor in the pump. Usually the oil is light and lucent. When water vapor is inside it gets blear and milky at operating state temperature. When turning the pump off water vapor condensates and raises the part of water in the oil.
The leak detector must not directly be switched off after the process, in which condensable gases or steams are pumped, is finished. It must be running (at least 20 minutes) with opend gas ballast valve until the oil of the pump is freed from detached steam.
