The flanges, or the vacuum flange fittings, are available in the following sizes KF10, KF-16, KF-25, KF-40, KF-50 with corresponding flange sizes NW-10, NW-16, NW-25, NW-40, NW-50.
The KF - VCR Female Adapters are made out of Stainless Steel. KF (also referred to as NW) assemblies consist of two Flanges, a Center-Ring and an aluminum Clamp. Clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the O-Ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring, to generate the vacuum seal.
