Oerlikon Leybold D40B TRIVACE 20010933 Product Overview:
The LEYBOLD D 40 B TRIVAC vacuum pumps are oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps. The Leybold D40B is a excelent two stage vacuum pump for vapor handling. The Leybold D40B pump has two vacuum stages with low vacuum and high vacuum which provided excelent ultimate vacuum pressure at < 2.0x10-3 mbar or <1.5x10-3 Torr. The Leybold D40B is perfectly suitable for many Industrial and research applications such as turbo pump backing pumps, diffusion pump backing pump, vacuum ovens, vacuum pumps for mass spectrometers, vacuum research laboratories, research projects. This Leybold D65B pump is prepared for Hydrocarbon oil service, best vacuum pump oil to be used is Leybonol LVO 100 / PN16787, D65B oil requirement 2.0 L min, 3.3 L max. The TRIVAC D65 Pump has grate water vapor capacity of 1925 g/h.
Leybold D 40 B pumps are also very quiet with nise level of 57 db(A) without gass ballast, and 59 db(A) with gass ballast open. Both Inlet and Exhaust ports are DN 40 ISO-KF. The gas ballast valve is opened with position 1 and closed with position 0. These Leybold D40B vane vacuum pumps are available as corrosive PFPE application pumps, and are called D40BCS models, Leybold Part Number 11388
Leybold D 40B Pump can be easily configured into Pump and Vacuum Pump Booster package. There are several different options and booster pumps available build vacuum puming system. Leybold Roots pump called ROVAC WA 251, WAU 251, WS 251 and WSU 251. Direct booster mounting adapter alows quick and easy booster pump installation on top of D40B Vacuum Pump.

We operate at our own full service repair facility which allows us to quickly and economically perform all repairs in a timely manner. Our advandced machinery enables us to handle all facets of the service and repair process. AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
