Turbovac TMP 35LS / 85664 Overview:
The TURBOVAC 35LS / PN 85664 was designed specificaly for Leybold, Inficon and Oerlikon Helium Leak Detectors.
Leybold TMP 35LS turbomolecular pumps featuring grease-lubricated bearings. These units are engineered to pump vacuum chambers down to pressures in the high-vacuum range. A TURBOTRONIK NT frequency converter and a forevacuum pump are required for the operation of the TURBOVAC TMP-35LS.
These Leybold TMP 35 LS Turbo Pumps are not suitable for operation without a forevacuum pump.
Turbovac 35 Turbomolecular pumps without a purge gas feature are suitable only for moving air or inert gases. They are not suitable for pumping aggressive or reactive gases.
Corrosive gases (such as chlorine) can destroy the rotors.

Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
