KF-40 to KF-16 (KF 40 to KF 16) Conical Reducer, Vacuum Fitting, ISO-KF Flange Size NW-40 to NW-16
Quick flange fitting sizes are KF10, KF-16, KF-25, KF-40, KF-50 with corresponding flange sizes NW-10, NW-16, NW-25, NW-40, NW-50.
The Conical KF-40 to KF-16 reducers or reducing adaptors are used in KF, also referred to as NW, assemblies. The Conical KF-40 to KF-16 reducers have NW-40 to NW-16 flange size and are made of stainless steel. These Conical reducing adaptors are used together with a centering rings or o-rings and quick clamps. The clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the o-ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring generating vacuum seal.
