Pfeiffer Adixen AMD 1 Overview:
The Adixen Pfeiffer AMD1 diaphragm pump is an excellent choice for oil-free evacuation and pumping of non-corrosive gases down to 1.5 mbar ultimate vacuum.
The three-stage design with precisely guided flat diaphragms provides outstanding pumping speed even close to the ultimate vacuum, especially when compared with similarly rated two-stage diaphragm pumps.
The Pfeiffer Adixen AMD-1 P/N 108987 is an ultra-low vibration pump with very long diaphragm lilfetimes and stable ultimate vacuum documented with years of testing.
With a flow path consisting of aluminum and selected plastics (diaphragms and valves made of PTFE/FKM and FKM, respectively) the Pfeiffer Adixen MD 1 pumps are suitable for a wide range of applications with non-corrosive gases.

Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
