The THERMOVAC Transmitters are active sensors using the unique MEMS-Pirani technology (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) They offer analog voltage output and the S-versions offer set point relays for improved process control For chemical and aggressive applications, the C-versions are equipped with a Parylene HT®- coated sensor The THERMOVAC series is also equipped with a LED-ring (360°) showing the status of the sensor The TTR 911 N and 916 N have a touch display and/or digital interfaces available.

Leybold TTR 91 N Sensor Technology


The THERMOVAC transmitters measurement principle is based on thermal conductivity The transmitters are equipped with a MEMS-Pirani sensing cell that consists of a silicon chip with a heated resistive element The THERMOVAC transmitters with the coated MEMS-Pirani are well suited for harsh processes and therefore more robust than the uncoated versions Built-in relays allow switching functions to be performed directly by the transmitter, without the need of a programmable control An integration of the transmitters in programmable control systems is facilitated by the linear characteristic, which can be defined by entering a simple equation into a PLC or computer

We operate at our own full service repair facility which allows us to quickly and economically perform all repairs in a timely manner. Our advandced machinery enables us to handle all facets of the service and repair process. AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.

AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
  1. Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
  2. Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
  3. Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
  4. Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
  5. Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
