Leybold PTR 90 / 230072 Penningvac Overview:
The Leybold Penningvac PTR 90 Vacuum Gauge head combines the cold cathode ionization principle with the Pirani measurement system and mey be operated with modern display and operation instruments.
The Leybold PTR 90 transmeters offer the capability of single port pressure measurement in the range from atmosphere to 1x 10-8 mbar - 1000 mbar
The Leybold Penningvac PTR 90 230070 Transmiters are equipped with rugged cold cathode measurement cell for integration within programmable systems. They offer a high level of reproducibility combined with low tendency to collect contamination even in argon operation.
Leybold PTR Technology
Each PTR 90 transmitter is individually tested throughout the measuring range before leaving the factory. A test report is included in the package. In addition, each transmitter pressure reading is individually temperature-compensated within the specified operating temperature range.
The PTR 90 cold cathode ionization vacuum gauges after the inverted magnetron / Penning principle.

AJVS utilizes industry standard vibration analysis equipment and advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and minimize all equipment failures. Our in-house machine shop is capable of machining various components, prototypes and housing conversions as needed.
AJVS repair process:
Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
