Pfeiffer Calibrated Leak 121528S Overview:
Replacement Tools / Spare parts
- 3 mm Allen key supplied in the maintenance kit
- Internal calibrated leak (see 9)
- Remove the front cover.
- Disconnect the temperature sensor (3) from the calibrated leak. Never separate the temperature sensor from the calibrated leak.
- Loosen the 2 fixing screws (2) without removing them.
- Rotate the internal calibrated leak by 90°.
- Replace the leak (1).
- Rotate the calibrated leak by 90° so that the temperature sensor is positioned underneath
the valve. - Connect the temperature sensor (3).
- Update the settings of the internal calibrated leak (see Spectro Menu of the Operating
Instructions). - Fits ASM340, ASM380, ASM390, ASM392

Repair Steps
- Full incoming inspection and run up time check, vibration check, drive inspection.
- Full disassembly of the pump, decontamination and cleaning.
- Pump is balanced utilizing state-of-the-art equipment from the world leader in equipment balancing and analysis to reduce noise and vibrations and extend bearings life.
- Assembly and replacement of all necessary parts such as shafts, bushings, bearings, sleeves, O-rings, gaskets, seals, wicks, etc. Only parts that meet or surpass OEM specifications are used to ensure dependable highest quality service and log pump life.
- Final test and leak check. The pump in fully assembled condition is checked for vacuum seal. Leak test to 1 x 10 -Mbar l/s. Vibrations are analyzed and test data is digitally recorded.
