Machined Clamp, KF-10 KF-16 (NW-10 NW-16), Aluminum Hinge Clamp
Overview:
The KF-10 and KF-16 Machined Clamp is used to connect vacuum plumbing and process systems in combination with vacuum pumps or vacuum components.
The NW-10 and NW16 Machined Clamp is used in conjunction with a certering ring with a fitted O-ring for mating KF flanges.
The Machined Clamps are available in the following sizes: NW 25, NW 40, NW 50
The Machined Clamps are available in Aluminum and Stainless Steel
KF Type Flange (also referred to as NW Type Flange) assemblies consist of two Flanges, a Center-Ring and an aluminum Clamp. KF Clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the O-Ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring, to generate the vacuum seal.
