Fully refurbished Leybold / Oerlikon D4B Dual Stage Rotary Vane Pump coupled with a KF16 Inlet Flange and KF16 Outlet Flange. This Leybold / Oerlikon Rotary Vane Pump has a peak pumping velocity of 4 m3/h and a final pressure of 1.5 x 10-3 Torr. It has been thoroughly examined and is ready for broad range of applications within the research and industrial industries. The Leybold / Oerlikon D4A Pump comes with an entire 12-Month Warranty.

A rotary vane pump can be described as a positive-displacement pump that is comprised of vanes mounted to a rotor that rotates inside of an enclosure. In some instances these vanes can be of varying length and tensioned to maintain contact with the walls as the pump rotates.

The simplest rotary vane pump is a circular rotor revolving inside of a larger round enclosure. The centers of these two bands are offset, inducing eccentricity. Vanes are allowed to slide in and out of the rotor and seal on all edges, making vane chambers that do the pumping work. On the intake side of the pump, the vane chambers are increasing in volume. These increasing volume vane chambers are filled with fluid forced in by the inlet pressure. Inlet pressure level is actually the pressure level from the system being pumped, frequently just the atmosphere. On the exhaust side of the pump, the vane chambers are decreasing in volume, forcing fluid out of the pump. The activity of the vane drives out the same volume of fluid with each rotation. S16B / 10266 Overview:

The pump module consists of assembly parts which are pin-fitted so as to allow easy disassembly and reassembly. The pump module can be easily removed without
special tools.

The rotor, mounted eccentrically in the pump housing, has two radially sliding vanes which divide the pump chamber into several compartments. The volume of each compartment changes periodically with the rotation of the rotor.

D16BCS Trivac / 91369-2 Overview:

Leybold / Oerlikon Trivac BCS pumps are oil-sealed rotary vane pumps. Trivac B pumps can pump gases and vapors and evacuate vessels or vacuum systems in the fine vacuum range. BCS Series pumps are suitable for pumping greater than atmospheric concentrations of oxygen, hazardous gases, or extremely aggressive or corrosive media.

Additional accesories such as CFS oil filtration system and ARS exhaust filters can be installed uppon request.

The drive motor of the Trivac D16BCS is directly flanged to the pump at the coupling housing. The pump and motor shafts are directly connected by a flexible coupling. The bearing points of the pump module are force lubricated sliding bearings. All controls as well as the oil-level glass and the nameplate are arranged on the front. All connections are to be found at the sides of the pump. The oil-level glass is provided with prisms for better observation of the oil level.

The LEYBOLD TRIVAC D16BCS vacuum pumps are oil lubricated vacuum pumps. Each Leybold D16B pump 91369-2 is wire wired for low 20-230V 60 Hz Voltage. The Leybold D 16 BCS is a well know pump with excellent reputation for vapor handling capability. The Leybold D16BCS pump has two vacuum stages with low vacuum and high vacuum which provided excelent ultimate vacuum pressure at < 2.0x10-3 mbar or <1.5x10-3 Torr.
