The Leybold Ultratest UL200 is a helium leak detector. This Instrument may be used to locate and quantify leaks in test samples.
The UL 200 is capable of detecting and quantifying helium test gas flowing into a test sample having a leak by means of selective mass spectometer. It's operation is based on the counter flow principle, i.e. inflowing helium diffuses against the gas flow being pumped by the turbomolecular pump into the mass spectometerwhereas heavier gases are held back.
The Leybold Trivac 2.5 Backing Pump generates the forepressure required for operation of the turbomolecular pump.
A&J Vacuum Services offers full repair/service of Leybold UL 200, along with all other brands of helium leak detectors offered on our website.
